Can I bring designs from cards into the BERNINA® software with the Magic Box and alter them?
You can bring designs from artista cards into the artista software using the Magic Box. If you have a Magic Box Plus or Elite you can save designs from artista cards to the hard drive of your computer.
If you have an older Magic Box (Serial Port Magic Box or USB Magic Box) an Amazing Box or Amazing Box II, you can upgrade the software/firmware for your existing box to Magic Box Elite. This upgrade enables multiple design writing to Magic Cards.
Use the Magic Box link tools to read (open) designs from the artista card inserted into the artista slot on the Magic Box. Once the design has been opened in the BERNINA® Embroidery Software you will be able to use all of the BERNINA® Embroidery Software's functions to alter the card's designs.
